Valentine's day fast approaching

Time for candy, cookies, and cutting out hearts. Every year, I try to be creative and safe money by doing homemade V-day cards and treats. Then after, wish I would of just bought them. But, I'm looking forward to the weekend so the girls and I can have fun baking and coloring.

Clark and I probably won't have time to go out alone. So we might take the girls out for a Valentine's date.

Busy, busy

Well, it's been quite a while since I last posted. Finally got a job, and my days are non-stop. I've started a boot camp workout routine (the one I did before our wedding). It's been tough, but I am starting to see results. I just wish I had time to keep up with housework. By the end of the day, I am too tired to do anything. The girls are loving their school and new friends. Evey is a Carebear now at TLC (Pre-K class). She is mastering her letters, and doing very well learning new things. Risa is full of energy and learning her colors and numbers. They can be the best of friends or the worst of enemies. Clark is busy with work, as always. But now that the holidays are over, we see more of him. Which makes the girls very happy.
I am already ready for spring; not a real fan of winter. But, as always, I will survive. And the days are getting lighter, and the sun is out today. That makes me happy.

Hello!

It's been a while since I posted. I had problems with logging in (had to change my e-mail user name); and had a falling out with a friend, who added nasty messages to this blog, my e-mail, and FB page. So, I decided to make it Private. I apologize for the inconvience. I'd just rather just keep my private thoughts to my close friends and family. I am going to make it a habit to at least post once a week. If just to write down my ideas for a story I am beginning to write.

Starting to write again..

The last 7 yrs has been a whirlwhind. From meeting Clark, to getting married, graduating college, having the girls, moving, changing jobs, moving again. The list goes on and on. Not saying I regret any of it; but I feel I've lost a part of myself along the way. And the one thing I used to do (a lot of), was writing. I barely have time to read, let alone write. Even in a journal. That, and everytime I do, one of the girls takes off with my pen or paper. So, I will try to stay off FB, lol; and start typing. I need it. Not just for a hobby, but for my soul. Not sure what I will profesionally next. Mabye grad school? But it's not worth working dead-end jobs that barely pay for daycare. Even with a degree. It's been very frusterating and discouraging. So, I will write for now.

On to a new (but still familiar road).
